1. Remove all previous version files and registry entries. Use specialized cleanup tools such as Windows Troubleshooter. 2. Run regedit.exe and delete registry keys under: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield Uninstall Information\{GUID} and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{GUID} Identify the correct GUID by checking the "DisplayName" key value matching the product name. 3. For InstallScript MSI setups, remove: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\InstallShield_{GUID} 4.
