Create, Open and Save Project File

Create a New Project File

Create a new file using File > New or the toolbar icon.

Available project types:

• Piping - Piping stress and flexibility analysis (START-PROF)

• All Elements - Analysis of individual piping components ( START-Elements)

• Flexible Pipes - Analysis of polymer and corrugated steel flexible pipes for district heating systems

• Vessels and Equipment - Equipment nozzle flexibility analysis

• Wall Thickness - Minimum wall thickness analysis for pipes and fittings

• Flaw Analysis - Corroded pipeline assessment using ASME B31G methodology

• Service Life - Remaining life analysis considering fatigue and corrosion for process piping systems (see START-Resource)

Open an Existing Project File

Open an existing file using File > Open or the toolbar icon.

Select the file in the dialog and click "Open". Enable "Preview" to view the piping model before opening.

Save the Project File

Save the current project using File > Save or the toolbar icon.

Save with a different name using  File > Save As
