A specialized axial expansion joint designed for one-time installation in buried pipelines. Enables cold springing during pipeline installation. After installation and heating to half the operating temperature, the compensator edges are permanently welded.
To analyze single use compensators, enable the "Spec. Analyze" option in the operation mode editor.
Single Use Compensator properties match those of standard axial expansion joints. Select compensator properties from the expansion joints database using the "..." button.
To insert a single use compensator, select the target node and navigate to: Insert > Expansion Joint > Axial Single Use Compensator
