3.11.2. Calculation of supporting member as per GOST 34233.2

This section describes calculation of nozzle (head) against pressure influence as per [16]. This calculation enables estimation of supporting member strength in terms of strength condition fulfilment for total membrane stresses.

At loading by external pressure (vacuum), apart from strength calculation, a stability calculation of supporting member is made.
