3.11. Calculation

To make calculations after assigning loading conditions, loads and calcula-tion methods press "Run Calculation (F7)" button (or icon). At that information on current state of calculation will be displayed (fig. 3.74).

Calculations of single forces and pressure are made to find allowable loads in the centre of the nozzle head. To find nozzle branch connection stiffness, an additional calculation of single forces and moments is to be made, at which total allowances to thicknesses are neglected. For more detailed information on calcula-tion of permissible loads and stiffness (flexibility), see section "Theory".

If geometry and position of branch connection elements are not beyond the scope of application conditions, branch connection strength and stiffness (flexibility) calculation results, as well as results of hole reinforcement and operability conclusion will be produced and displayed on the report (fig. 3.75).
