Databases

Configure database access in the  general settings.

Important: If database files such as Material.sqlite3, Grunt.sqlite3, Comp.sqlite3, Insulation.sqlite3, FittingBase.sqlite3, and similar are read-only, all database editing functions in PASS/START-PROF will be disabled.

You can also create custom databases for any project component.

To edit a database:

  1. Select the database in the project tree
  2. Click the Edit Database button on the toolbar

The database editor opens in a separate window.

To add a new item to the database:

  1. Click the Add button
  2. Enter the item properties
  3. Click OK

To edit an existing item:

  1. Select the item in the list
  2. Click the Edit button
  3. Modify the properties
  4. Click OK

To delete an item from the database:

  1. Select the item in the list
  2. Click the Delete button

To save database changes, click Save.

To discard changes, click Cancel.
