3.3. Main menu of the program

Main menu is designed for fetching all basic commands of the program and includes the following items (icons):

Menu item name (icon)		Designation (program functions)
Submenu "File"
	New (Ctrl+N)	Creates a new project with the default source data.
	Open (Ctrl+O)	Opens an existing initial data file (with extension nzldb, nzl or nzlc) and reads out initial data. At that the name of current initial data file appears in the program window title bar.
	Save (Ctrl+S)	Saves data in the initial data file.
	Save as…	Saves data into the initial data file with other name.
	Import	Allows you to open files of third-party data formats. For example, to implement import from PASS/EQUIP.
	Recent Files	Shows a list of recent files that the user has worked with.
	Exit (Alt+F4)	Exit program.
Submenu "Options"
	Interface themes	Allows you to choose the theme of the graphical user interface (GUI).
	Language	Select the language of the graphical user interface (GUI) and reports. The program supports English, Spanish, Chinese and Russian languages.
	Database setup	Sets the paths of the databases of standard materials and user materials (see section "Material database").
	Set dimesion units	Sets units used when entering geometry, loading conditions and material properties.
	Settings	Sets program parameters that are general to all projects. This data is stored in the Windows registry.
Submenu "Calculation"
	Preprocessor	Allows to view a geometric model (preview mode).
	Postprocessor	Allows to view calculation results (stress-strain state of the model).
	Run Calculation	Makes selected types of calculations.
	Update report	Generates html-report based on the calculation results, that is stored in project file.
	Export to RTF format	Converts html-report to RTF format, compatible with Microsoft Office Word.
Submenu "Help"
	Help topics (CHM)	Calls program help that is organized in the format of CHM help file.
	Web help	Opens the user manual in a web browser installed on the user's computer.
	Check for updates	Runs an integrated automatic update system.
	About…	Opens window containing information about the program version and current license, and also allows you to replace the license.
