Standard pipe uniform weight. START-PROF automatically considers overload factors based on standards upon running the analysis. Uniform pipe weight can usually be calculated automatically by pressing the "..." button and specifying the density of material, as:

External pipe diameter, nominal wall thickness and metal volume weight must be input for this. Metal volume weight is approximately 0.00785 kg/cm³
